As Roland arrived in Anvil he began walking towards his house saying "Hello." to the local guards. as he walks.

the streets are not as pleasant and happy as you once remembered. the bright colovian buildings have been made dark and severely damaged.

((being just north of valenwood and along a shore linking you to the summerset isle has made anvil a main warzone between the central alliance and the dominion.))

you see the street on which you live, but you can't find your house.

Roland is horrified to see his homeland this way and rushes home. As he reaches his street he desperately searches for his home screaming, "CARMIN!!! JENNIE!!! RICKY!!! WHERE ARE YOU!!!" Roland continues to look for his home.

DEAD shouts a beggar nearby. attacked in the middle o th' night. if ur kids lived on this street, theyr casultys o war.

Roland looks at the beggar in horror saying "YOU LIE! YOU LIE BEGGAR! TELL ME YOUR LYING! TELL ME!!!" Roland cries on the ground holding onto the beggars clothes.

calm down, git off! their dead. thre wus a city wyde funral service an evrythin. said the beggar as he would try to stay standing (the alcohol on his breath gives off a very powerful smell)

Roland let go of the beggar still crying on the ground. As the beggar was leaving Roland says, "Please Beggar . . . Take me to them. I want to see their resting place."

((Mwahahahahahahahahahaha now his torment can begin. Good! GOOD! ))

Roland would put his head down in sadness. He eventually went to his house and observed the remains of his home and his family. He would then scream to the heavens so that the 9 divines could hear him. (This is obviously dramatic text and not literal.) "AAAAAAAGGGHH WHY DIVINES WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME. WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS PUNISHMENT." Roland calming down watches the embers burn for a while before going to the local church to pray.

((and now the emo days can officially begin. just kidding but he will be saddened by this turn of events. ))

As the day neared its end, Roland is approached by a lower priest. my apologies sir, but we cannot provide you lodgings tonight. you'll have to leave for the night. There is a nice cheap in on the docks you can stay at. said the priest as he began carefully nudging the knight out the door.

Roland would say "Thank you." to the priest. Roland leaves and goes to the Inn thinking he needs to find some work and wine to take his mind off of the incident. His faith faltering he enters the inn and sits at the bar

Roland said "Thank you." to the person who served him his drink. He then said "I may need something like a guild to ease my mind from this pain."

Roland would say something as he sat there with his drink in hand. He would ask "Bosmer . . . what is your take on the attack that happened here. Do you feel rage at your own people for what they did. Or do you condone the slaughter of many in the name of war." He would sit there waiting for an answer from the Bosmer

((Considering the circumstances I'm pretty sure he would start developing this way. That Bosmer better be careful of what she says next. ))
